Kyle William Jarrett

Kyle William Jarrett, 28, of Lillington died in his home on June 21, 2018. He was born October 19, 1989 in Raleigh to parents William Jarrett and Troi Jarrett. Kyle made the move from Holly Springs to Harnett County when he was 10 years old and there’s no question it was meant to be his home. He proudly attended Harnett Central High School and recently graduated from Wake Technical Community College, with plans to continue his education indefinitely.

Above all, Kyle was a lover of love and a proponent of peace. He did everything he did with great passion. He cherished friendships and reveled in his role as life of the party. Growing up, he was a champion on the baseball field, football field, and wrestling mat. As an adult he worked hard in the construction industry and in his spare time enjoyed working out, practicing yoga, and listening to music. Music was without question his greatest passion. Whether it was listening to music on the sofa with friends or checking out his favorite bands in Raleigh, it put a smile on his face. Truly loved by all, Kyle’s presence will be missed far and wide.

Kyle was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ray Jarrett and maternal grandparents Hazel Goodman and Arthur Corbin.

Kyle is survived by his father William Jarrett of Fuquay-Varina; mother Troi Jarrett of Lillington; sister Kristen Jarrett; sister Amanda Starkey and family; paternal grandmother Martha Ann Jarrett of Fayetteville; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by a circle of very dear friends who he considered family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Kipling United Methodist Church at 6:00pm on Friday, June 29, 2018. The family will receive friends at O’Quinn Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm, as well as following the Celebration of Life service.
